I love a troubled marriage plot so I went on to read Ninja at First Sight and Happily Ever Ninja. The Heaving Bosoms episode on the book is great and encapsulates a lot of my own feelings about the book. ![]() I loved Sandra as a heroine - though her responses to some of the alarming things that Alex did were quite out of character, in my opinion. ![]() However, I kept seeing her books recommended here - so I went on to read. And it was quite incredible that the purportedly super-smart heroine did not realise that she was dating her boss. Spouting random trivia is not a personality trait. Neanderthal Seeks Human - It was not my favourite. And I wanted to get this sub's opinions on these because they are kind of driving me up the wall.įirst up, I will say that I have not read all her books. I think there are a few issues with her books which irk me, which make it difficult for me to love them unconditionally. She has great setups, well fleshed-out characters, interesting settings, believable conflict, and a really well-defined riveting style. Penny Reid is, in my opinion, a fantastic writer. ![]()
